We love to go offroad-camping so over time we got a list of our best camping spots around Perth and in western Australia, from close to the city to far away down south or up north, we managed to see awesome places with our trailers and would like to introduce you to some of them!

One of our favourite spots to escape the city life for a quick weekend camping, on a sunny day you can recharge your internal batteries just by being so close to the ocean – it’s beautiful! We marked a secret spot for you, the normal official campsites can be reached with normal cars and trailers but this spot is further north along the 4wd tracks, we found it while exploring the area and when we come back it’s empty and free for us most of the time. For the way in you need to let your tyres down to at least 20psi, its mostly sand tracks but also some rock crawling involved and one steep soft sand hill to tackle – there is a way around that but where is the fun in that? Tracks can be narrow and you will come back with some scratches from bushes – but it’s worth it! You can go alone, as a couple or the whole family, there is enough to do for everyone if you like the ocean or just sitting next to a fire – bring your own firewood!
Tip: stop in jurien bay at the bakery for the best bee sting we ever had 🙂
